A Positive Attitude Must You Have...

A positive attitude is a must if a woman body builder wants to accomplish her wildest dreams, such as winning the coveted Ms. Olympia. Of course she'll have to lift heavy amount of weight without causing injuries to her body but at the same time she has to make sure not to inflict damage to her mind as well. The body can do all the lifting but she also needs the mind to dictate what to lift, when to break, what amount of nutrient the body needs and the proper mental and positive stimuli the body needs.

Is your body growing faster than your mind?

A female body builder describes weightlifting as an activity wherein she and the weights fight for supremacy. Weightlifting allows her to establish and reach her own goals as well as forget her troubles. On the other end of the spectrum, how serious is the use of illegal substances in female body building? Drugs that can cause paranoia, hallucinations, delusions of grandeur and violent tendencies are frightening whenever they appear.

In a bodybuilder who can bench press the equivalent of two grown men, they can be downright terrifying. Bodybuilders using steroids may be prone to such psychotic and manic symptoms, according to ongoing research. I still believe that natural female body building is the safest way to go, safe and beautiful...That deserves much more credit.

What is the role of hormones in body building?

How do men and women body builders compare when it comes to hormones?
Men and women produce exactly the same hormones, only in different amounts. It may come as a surprise to know that women's ovaries primarily produce testosterone, from which estrogen is then made. This ovarian production accounts for one-quarter of the total circulating testosterone in a woman's body. Testosterone is one of a family of hormones called androgens.

To raise her muscle building hormone level, a woman body builder must always train with 100 % effort and intensity. If the female body builder wants to see real muscle gains, she must be willing to push herself to the limit in the gym everytime. Only then can real muscle growth occurs. Many women body builders are earning college degrees in some body related fields.
